Who We Are
We are Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopal, Baptist,
Catholic, Church of Christ, Pentecostal - to name just a few.
In 2010 we numbered over 150 voices. |

Our current Director is
Susan Armentrout. Sue has a life-long involvement with choral
music, having sung in church choirs since age 7. She directed The
Noteables, a women’s community ensemble, for 14 years, and the Unity
of Beaverton choir, which she helped organize, for 8 years. She has
also served as a church soloist. She sang with the Lutheran Choral
for 13 years before becoming Director in 2011

Karl Jurisons, continues his long service as Lutheran Choral accompanist. He is a graduate of Marylhurst University, organist at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Portland, and directs the Scandinavian Men's Chorus.

President of the Lutheran Choral Association since 1977 is the tireless Olive "Jac" (pronounced "Jake") Kistner, a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Jac has been with the Lutheran Choral Association since 1955.
